Anne Higgins Petz has created crossword puzzles for over 25 years. She
devised medically-oriented puzzles for pharmaceutical companies and journals directed to physicians and nurses. She is a former Vice President of a Manhattan advertising agency and author of Bible Crossword Puzzles, Irish Crosswords and two novels: The Dream Chaser and Rough Seas Ahead.
She lives in Cary, North Carolina.
Beverly K. Eakman is an educator and writer who co-founded the National Education Consortium in 1994. For nine years she was a high school teacher of English, and debate. From 1974 until 1979 she was editor-in-chief, science editor and technical writer for the official newspaper of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). She has also been chief speech writer for the National Council for Better Education, Chief Justice Warren E. Burger, the Commission on the Bicentennial of the US Constitution, Voice of America, and a writer-editor for the US Department of Justice.
C.J Abbot is a nom de plume of award winning author Jon Batson. He based “C.J.” on Claudia Jean “C. J. ” Cregg, a favorite character played by Allison Janney on the television serial drama The West Wing. He chose Abbot to honor Chris Abbott, American television producer, writer and author. “C.J. Abbot” has written several fiction novels and short stories available on Amazon. His genres are mystery,crime and conspiracy.
Jackie was born and raised in Fayetteville, Tennessee and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1964. She was blessed to have known Christ from an early age and her poems are reflective of her daily walk with Him. Jackie was married for 40 years to Dennie Welsh. She has three children and nine grandchildren. She has had a lifelong love of poetry and her work has been enjoyed by many. This book is a collection of some of her favorite work.
Joe M. Parker has one published book which includes biographical sketches of Col. (Ret) Joe M. Parker, NCARNG, who served From Private to Colonel in military public affairs from 1953 to 1988, including two tours at the Pentagon. Joe M. Parker was also Chairman/CEO of a community newspaper and commercial printing company and in a third career headed North Carolina’s highway safety program from 1993 to 2001. The national “Click It or Ticket” occupant protection program originated in Col. Parker’s conference room.
Sandra Carrington-Smith is an Italian-born author who relocated to the United States in the late 80’s after marrying a US soldier who was serving overseas. Although writing was Sandra’s deepest passion since childhood, her dream of becoming a published author had to be placed on hold for several years as she had to learn to overcome the language barrier she encountered when she first arrived. To date, she has published four books, one which won an international book award.
